Marrakech > High Atlas Mountains > Ait Benhaddou > Ouarzazate > Kelaa M’gouna > Dades Gorge

We will meet you in Marrakech and pick you up from your hotel in the morning. Our first stop is Ait Benhaddou over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude) and go visit Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to Ouarzazate and have a stop for taking photo near the atlas film studios. After that, we will explore the city center for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt. After that you will head to Kalaa M’gouna or Boumalne du Dades for a night.

 Dades Gorge > Todra Gorges > Tinejdad > Erfoud > Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

After breakfast in the hotel, we will start driving to Tineghir and you will see Boumalne du Dades in the way. We will have a stop in a panoramic view of dades valley. We will drive towards to Todra gorges via Imider and Tineghir. In Todra Gorges, we will have a short hiking for enjoying its marvelous canyons view while hiking on foot. We continue the tour and have lunch in Tinejdad. After Lunch, we will go to Erfoud where you will visit the local fossil craft workshops. After that we will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are as known as Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for camel trekking for around 1.5 hour enjoy the amazing sunset in desert. After sunset, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Enjoy a special dinner and spend the night in the middle of the dunes.

You will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and breakfast on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert. After sunrise, you will have camel trekking and back to the hotel where you can take a shower. After that, will go to visit the black volcanic rocks of fossils and nomad family who living in tent; visit to Khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife. We will have lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located on the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel for shower and relax. Dinner and Overnight in an Auberge.

Merzouga > Rissani > Erfoud  > Midelt > Azrou > Ifrane > Fes

We will explore the local market in Rissani. After that, you will depart to Errachidia by passing Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz. We will have a stop in a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continue to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch, we will start to drive to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkeys). You may have a stop in Ifrane, the place as known as the Switzerland of Morocco before arriving to Fes.

Tizi N’tichka Pass

Tizi n'Tichka  is a mountain pass in Morocco, linking the south-east of Marrakech to the city of Ouarzazat through the High Atlas mountains. It lies above the great Marrakesh plains, and is a gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Ait Benhaddou

The site of the ksar has been fortified since the 11th century during the Almoravid period. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987

Todra Gorges

The Todgha Gorges are a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir, where a 300m-deep fault splits the orange limestone into a deep ravine at some points just wide enough for a crystal-clear river and single-file trekkers to squeeze through.

Sahara Desert
